ID Fraud – What Information Is Out There?

I recently received an e-mail from a client saying that they had been subject to cheque fraud – the second time this had happened to them in a month.   Basically, someone presented a fake cheque for cash and the supporting ID used was a fake driving licence of the client.

I have two sons aged 7 and 9. They have never known a world without touchscreen computers and tablets – born into the touchscreen generation! Apple released the iPad into the UK in 2010 and the use of these and fellow competitor tablets are now common place in the average family’s day to day life.

A “one size fits all” corporation tax rate

I’ve been an accountant for almost 16 years now. In that time there has always been one rate of corporation tax for companies with larger profits and another (lower) rate of tax for those with smaller profits.
