Based on recent correspondence, it would appear that Companies House’s automated notice letters are being sent slightly prematurely.
We have had numerous incidences whereby a client company has received a “Notice of overdue accounts” letter, even though accounts have been filed before the filing due date. This is particularly prevalent in cases where clients have chosen to file their accounts as close to the deadline as possible. Despite the accounts being filed on time, it would appear that the system is failing to recognise this and automatically issuing a notice of overdue accounts to the directors.
If you are in receipt of this, please do not ignore – simply speak to your contact person at Barnes Roffe to confirm that your accounts have been filed on time as instructed.
