More tax scam “phishing” emails
As the tax year draws to an end, there seems to be a surge in tax scam “phishing” emails.
You may see emails purporting to be from HM Revenue & Customs, saying that you are due a tax refund. Chris Hopson, Director of Customer Contact at HMRC has previously already confirmed that HMRC only ever contact customers who are due a tax refund in writing by post. HMRC never use telephone calls, emails or external companies in such circumstances.
Please therefore be ultra vigilant.Talk to Barnes Roffe today
